北海道の東部、根室半島の南側にある花咲岬。
遊歩道を進むと日本の灯台50選に選ばれた赤と白のツートンカラーに四角い形状の花咲灯台が見えて来ます。
すぐ近くには直径６mにも及ぶ車輪の様な形をした放射状節理の「車石」があり、国の天然記念物にも指定されています。

Beautiful landscape of Japan.
Cape Hanasaki is located in the eastern part of Hokkaido, south of the Nemuro Peninsula. As you walk along the promenade, you will see the square-shaped Hanasaki Lighthouse, which has been selected as one of the top 50 lighthouses in Japan.
In the immediate vicinity, there is a wheel-shaped radial joint “Kurumaishi” with a diameter of 6m, which has been designated as a national natural monument.
